St. Mary's emblem house

We are continuing to discuss the responsibilities of taking care of our home here at St. Mary’s.

There are many duties to keep the house running smoothly; and as in any family, we all have responsibilities to make each person in our family feel included and spiritually fulfilled.

This is your house. Without you, it would not exist. Your house is your responsibility.

DEFINITION: CO-RESPONSIBLE --   sharing expectations or obliged to accountfor something to someone, answerable, accountable.

DEFINITION: STEWARDSHIP -- a person morally responsible for the careful use of money, time, talents, or other resources, esp. with respect to the principles or needs of a community or group

Questions for Discussion this Week:

1)  Where do I see examples of people being co-responsible for the bills of St. Mary's?

  2)  How will I commit to demonstrate my co-responsibility?

3)  How did we at St. Mary’s spend our money last year? Are there budget categories that need special aftention?

4)  How does the statement “I am co-responsible for this house” make you feel? Do you feel co-responsible?

I am co-responsible

for this House.
